What Happened to IowaGeek.com?

When I moved out of Iowa at the end of 2004, I decided it didn't really make sense to continue publishing under the IowaGeek.com brand. I had already launched JakeLudington.com as my primary space for publishing my Digital Lifestyle newsletter and making my permanent home Seattle, WA negated my being a geek in Iowa.

Iowa will always be a place that holds fond memories for me. It's where I grew up. It's where my family lives. It's where I met my wife. Iowa has never been what's defined me, so I opted to drop the domain name. Who knows, maybe we will move back someday and I'll start blogging here again.

If you're on this page, you can find my tech help from the JakeLudington.com site. If you just want to keep up with random stuff going on in my life, I update my blog semi-frequently. I'm fairly easy to find on Linked In, Facebook, MySpace and at least half a dozen other social networking sites.
